SHAURYA was founded by Madhukar Katragadda as a part of his individual social responsibility in June 2012, with the objective of supporting the cause of women empowerment through prevention of sexual harassment.
In January 2014 Shaurya took up the work of extending POSH Act compliance services to Corporates.
In April 2024 Shaurya4posh was taken over by Shaurya4equality Pvt. Ltd., a company founded by Madhukar Katragadda, Sonal Ajmera and Dinesh Tadi with the objective of making equality a fundamental guaranteed every citizen under the Indian Constitution.
